Mariah Leach, JD, MS, is a freelance writer, speaker, and healthcare advocate. She contributes to a number of health publications focusing on chronic illnesses, serves on several Arthritis Foundation committees, and maintains an award-winning personal blog about her life with rheumatoid arthritis. Leach holds a BA with honors in politics from Princeton University, and a JD and MS in environmental science from the University of Colorado. She is also the co-author of three books on environmental law.
